The Mattie’s Call has been canceled. Officials report that the two missing women were located in Dekalb County, checked out at a local hospital and released.
Initial Story – March 6, 2019
A Mattie’s Call has been issued for two missing persons through the Dekalb County Police Department Special Victims Unit.
Maudine Phelps, 71-year-old African-American female, and Phoebe Jackson-Nemeth, 63 year old white female have been missing since March 5, 2019. Ms. Phelps is diagnosed with Dementia and Ms. Jackson-Nemeth is deaf. They were last known to be driving a Silver 2018 Hyundai Elantra with GA Tag: CHE8235 while enroute to a doctor’s appointment in Decatur.
A Mattie’s Call has been issued. Anyone with information is asked to please contact the DeKalb County Police Department Special Victims Unit at 770-724-7710.
