Update
In addition to being charged with aggravated assault, Gwinnett County Police Department announced that Akin Williams has also been charged with kidnapping and false imprisonment. The motive for the crime is still not known.
The victim has been identified as Williams’ supervisor, Maria Mosher, 59, of Grayson. She is still being treated at a local hospital for her injuries.
Initial Story

(Grayson, Georgia) Suspect arrested in a stabbing that took place at the Kroger in unincorporated Grayson in Gwinnett County at about 6 a.m. this morning, Sunday, Nov. 17, 2019.
“When officers arrived they located the 59-year-old victim with stab/slice wounds to her neck, hands, and legs. She was transported to a local hospital where she is currently undergoing surgery. The name of the victim, who was an employee of the Kroger, is not being released at this time,” Gwinnett County Police Department reported in a press release.
GCPD report that the suspect, Akin Williams, 21, of Snellville and also an employee of the Kroger, has been arrested. He is currently being held at the Gwinnett County jail without bond where he was charged with aggravated assault. Additional charges may follow as detectives investigate the motive for the crime.
