Walton County Fire Rescue reports that it responded to a vehicle fire on Friendship Church Road off Highway 11 north of Monroe in Walton County on Wednesday, July 25, 2018.
“The vehicle’s passenger compartment was fully involved upon arrival of the fire department personnel. The vehicle is a total loss,” said Batallion Chief Craig League. “The driver was uninjured.”
League said at 12:20 p.m. that the roadway was still shut down. The call was dispatched at 12 noon.
