There is no better way to learn an appreciation for the true spirit of the season than in helping deliver food boxes to needy families through the Empty Stock Funds. Walton County is again giving anyone who would like to help the opportunity to do so on Saturday, Dec. 15. Anybody who wants to help just has to turn up at the National Guard Armory at 8 a.m. that Saturday morning. The National Guard Armory in Moroe is located at 436 E Washington St.
Usually, especially if the weather is good, there is a great response to this request. If you want to be part of the community’s Christmas giving spirit, be there to help ease some of the worries of those in the community who are less fortunate during the Christmas season.
