Walton County BOC expected to vote on bid for Between park splash pad Tuesday

At the Walton County Board of Commissioners Meeting on Tuesday, commissioners are expected to vote to accept a bid for the development of a splash pad at the new park planned for Between. Walton County Board of Commission Chairman  Kevin Little shared a rendering of the park. He said this rendering does not include the changing restrooms or the pavilions that are also planned. The development will be off Highway 78 on property alongside the location of the Walton County Fire Department and the DMV.

This is the first phase of the park. Little said an adaptive field will be considered for the second phase of development of the park.
