Walton County BOC to consider budget for adaptive field and splash pad at new park in Between

At the Walton County Board of Commissioners Meeting on Tuesday, commissioners will consider resolutions on several project length budget items, including an adaptive field and a splash pad at the new park planned for development in Between. Parks are also featured on the agenda for the Monroe City Council that takes place at the same time on Tuesday evening.
The Walton County Board of Commissioners Meeting for August is at 6 p,m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6, 2019, at the Historic Courthouse on S. Broad Street in Monroe. The full agenda follows. There also will be public hearings on the potential millage rate increase at 11 a.m. and then again at 5.30 p.m. just prior to the BOC meeting on Tuesday at the Historic Courthouse.
