Walton County BOC to consider rezone for commercial kennel at first meeting of 2026

The Walton County Board of Commissioners will have its first meeting of 2026 at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 6, 2026. at the Historic Walton County Courthouse located at 111 South Broad Street in Monroe. The first item of business following the presentation of the 2025 audit is a rezone to make way for a commercial kennel at Cornish Mountain Church Road.
