Walton County Chamber of Commerce’s annual EmpowerHER Summit scheduled for Oct. 8

The Walton County Chamber of Commerce will host its annual EmpowerHER Summit on Thursday, Oct. 8, offering women an evening of shopping, dinner, connection, inspiration and fun.

Despite being hosted by the Chamber, the event is open to all women and does not require Chamber membership. Organizers say the event is designed as a ladies’ night out for women from all walks of life, including business owners, professionals, stay-at-home mothers, retirees and anyone simply looking for an evening with friends.

This year’s keynote speaker will be Dr. Melissa Furman, who will lead an interactive session on professional branding, including reputation, communication style, confidence and how individuals present themselves to others.

The evening will also include local vendors, dinner and opportunities to meet and connect with other women.
