Guilty find by jury ends with sentence of life life plus 224 years in prison
WALTON COUNTY, GA (Feb. 16, 2025) – The Walton County District Attorney announced today that a Walton County jury found Clarence Matthew Ivey (47) guilty of thre counts of Aggravated Child Molestation, four counts of Child Molestation, two counts of Statutory Rape, two counts of Enticing a Child for Indecent Purposes, two counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children, and one count of Possession of Methamphetamine.

The Defendant committed these crimes over a period of time between late-2019 and mid-2020 with multiple incidents happening during these times.
After the verdict the Court proceeded into a sentencing hearing. After hearing from both the State and the defense, the Defendant was sentenced to Life followed by 224 years in prison.
The case was prosecuted by Deputy Chief Assistant District Attorney Dave Williamson, Victim Services Director Kim Kelly, Investigator Charles Cook, Victim Advocate Suzanna Maulfair, and Legal Assistant Lisa Knight. The investigation was handled by the Walton County GA Sheriff’s Office. The victim received services from A Child’s Voice Child Advocacy Center as well as Piedmont Walton and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
