Walton County Farm Bureau Football Player of the Week went to WGHS Joc Pledger

Each week during football season, Georgia Farm Bureau in Monroe is offering a game ball to the Walnut Grove High School football Warrior as chosen by the coaches. P.J. Shippey of Georgia Farm Bureau said this week’s game ball was presented to Joc Pledger.
“Joc  had one catch for 33 yards, five tackles and one pass break-up,” Shippey said.
Walnut Grove Varsity Warriors lost to the Monroe Area 28 – 7 last Friday. The Warriors have an away non-conference game against Apalachee High in Winder on Friday, Sept. 14. Kick off is at 7:30 p.m.
