Each year, the Walton County Music Guild gives away about $4,000 in music scholarships to local music students under the Ira Martin Youth Scholarship program and it is looking to do the same again this year. This scholarship is given in memory of Ira Martin who passed away in 2009. Martin was a singer with the Walton Choral Society and a strong supporter of the Music Guild. He also was an advocate for musical and educational experiences for youth in Walton County.
