Walton County to vote on 2024 millage rate increase Tuesday

The Walton County Board of Commissioners will have its August 2024 meeting at 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 6, at the Historic Walton County Courthouse located at 111 South Broad Street in Monroe. The public is invited to attend.

One of the items on the agenda is a vote on a millage rate increase. Two public hearings have already been held on the issue. There will be the third and final public hearing at 5 p.m. prior to the meeting.
