Sharon McLaughlin, representing our very own Walton County, competed in the Mrs. Georgia International Pageant on Sunday, April 15, 2018, and won, bringing home the title. She now goes on to compete this summer in Charleston, WV, representing Georgia for the title of Mrs. International 2018.
According to the newly crowned Mrs. Georgia International 2018, “the Georgia International Pageant system celebrates accomplished married women.”
Mrs. International System is a platform based system and McLaughlin’s platform is Ending Poverty with Soles4Souls. She has distributed resources to children in Georgia as well as Kenya.
In order to win the title, McLaughlin competed in interview, fitness, onstage question and evening gown with other women from across the state of Georgia, before winning and waling away with the crown as Mrs. Georgia International 2018.
McLaughlin lives in Between, Ga. with her husband, Tom McLaughlin.
