Walton Government buildings will remain closed after report of suspicious package

The Walton County Government Buildings were closed at about 1 p.m. on Friday due to a suspicious package but after investigation it was deemed to be “safe and nonhazardous” and the building was given the all clear.

Officials announced, however, that the building will remain closed for the rest of the day. It will resume regular business hours again on Monday, Dec. 10, 2018.
