Officials with the City of Monroe are giving advanced notice that on Monday, Aug. 21, 2017, crews will be extending a water main along N. Lumpkin Street. The water will be off for several hours during this time. At this time, officials only expect those in the immediate area of N. Lumpkin Street to be impacted.
“The water should only be off 1-2 hours and should start around 7:30 that morning,” said Patrice Broughton, community/customer liaison with the City of Monroe.
