Walton County Fire Rescue reported that one of its rescue trucks was involved in an accident over the weekend. It happened at about 12.02 p.m. on Saturday at Charlotte Rowell Blvd at Double Springs Road. According to Batallion Chief Craig League, the truck wasn’t responding to a call at the time, but it was struck by another vehicle that was attempting to make a turn. He said Georgia State Patrol worked the accident. No injuries were reported.
