The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for Monday, Jan. 14, 2019. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
ZONE 1
Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a business on Highway 138 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual making forced entry into a vehicle on location and taking several items sometime between 5 pm on Friday, January 11th and 8 am Monday, Jan. 14. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division investigating the incident.
ZONE 6
Burglary- Deputies took a report at a business on Karlee Boulevard in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual made forced entry into several units on location and took numerous items sometime between 6 pm Saturday, Jan, y 12 and 8 am Monday, Jan. 14th. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division investigating the incident.
ZONE 7
Burglary- Deputies took a report at a business on Highway 81 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took several items from location sometime between 11 pm Saturday, Jan. 12 and 8 am Monday, Jan. 14. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division investigating the incident.
Arrest- Christopher Lee and Brett Waldrep were arrested in Dekalb County following a vehicle pursuit in a stolen vehicle that started Walton County in the area of Highway 138 and Guthrie Cemetery Road.
- Christopher Lee was arrested following a vehicle accident with no injuries in Dekalb County for Theft by Receiving, Possession of Methamphetamine, Reckless Driving, Fleeing to Elude, Driving While License Suspended, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
- Brett Waldrep was arrested by Lithonia Police Department and Dekalb County Police Department following a foot chase for Possession of Methamphetamine, Theft by Receiving, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
Arrest- Austin Cowart was arrested in the area of Highway 138 for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a traffic stop
