The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Monday – Tuesday, March 15 – 16, 2021. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitution a conviction.

ZONE 6
Arrest– A 20-year-old Conyers man was arrested at a residence on Youth Monroe Road for Cruelty to Children in the 2nd Degree, Damage to Government Property, Obstruction, and Probation Violation following a dispute.
Tuesday, March 16, 2021
ZONE 1
Hit and Run– Deputies responded to a hit and run accident in the area of Highway 138 at A & R Rental in reference to a gold in color passenger vehicle fleeing the scene after being involved in an accident. Georgia State Patrol worked the accident.
ZONE 4
Arrest– A 27-year-old Monroe man was arrested in the area of Summerset Drive for Indecent Exposure following multiple suspicious person reports.
ZONE 6
Arrest– A 40-year-old Oxford man and a 31-year-old Oxford woman were arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Tom Brewer Road following a traffic stop.
-The male was arrested on an outstanding Probation Violation Warrant and for Possession of Methamphetamine.
-The female was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine
