The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2018. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to the area of Cannon Farm Road in reference to a complaint of an unknown male in a black in color Nissan passenger vehicle stopping and making comments at the complainant around 10:57am. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact with the individual.
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Snook Thompson Road in reference to suspicious activity in the area and several recent entering autos.
Trespassing- One individual was cited at a residence in the area of Navaho Trail for Criminal Trespass following being found on location riding a four wheeler without permission.
Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Greystone Lane in reference complainant reporting an unknown individual taking items from their residence sometime on Sunday, February 25, 2018.
Trespassing- Jamisin Marshall, Deshawn Verdell, and Shaquille Williams were arrested at the Rock Quarry in the area of Annslee Lane for Criminal Trespass following being found on location without permission.
Arrest- Jeffery Shamblim was arrested in the area of Centerville Rosebud Road and Manor Way for Driving Under the Influence, Open Container, and Expired Tag following a traffic stop.
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Hunter Hollow Road in reference to a complaint of an unknown passenger vehicle seen driving suspiciously around the area and appeared to be photographing residence.
