The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Friday, Jan. 29 to Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Friday, Jan. 29, 2021
Burglary– Deputies took a report at a residence on Harry Arnold Road in reference to complainant reporting stolen items between the hours of 12 am on Wednesday, Jan. 27 and 5 pm on Friday, Jan. 29.
Burglary– Deputies took a report at a residence on Dry Pond Road in reference to complainant reporting damage to property and stolen items between the hours of 4:30 am on Thursday, Jan. 28 and 5 pm on Friday, Jan. 29.

Arrest– A 36-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the area of Main Street and Church Street for Driving Under the Influence, Speeding, and Reckless Driving following a traffic stop.
Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021
Arrest– A 36-year-old Bethlehem man was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Bay Creek Church Road for Theft by Taking, Loitering and Prowling, Entering Auto, and Criminal Trespass following a traffic stop.
Damage to Property– Deputies took reports at several residences in the areas of Park Street, Old Highway 138, and Guthrie Cemetery Road in reference to an unknown individual in a green in color Nissan passenger vehicle damaging mailboxes.
Monday, Feb. 1, 2021
Hit and Run– Deputies responded to a hit and run accident in the area of Highway 138 and Youth Jersey Road in reference to an unknown individual in a gray in color Ford pickup truck striking another vehicle and leaving the scene.
Arrest– A 33-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a residence on Butterfly Lane for Simple Battery and Criminal Trespass following a dispute.

Arrest– A 35-year old Loganville woman was arrested at a residence on Donald Drive on outstanding warrants out of Walton County for Theft by Taking without issue.
