The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts for Tuesday, June 13, 2017. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Burglary: Deputies took a report at a residence on Old Monroe Madison Highway in reference to an unknown individual entering complainant’s residence. Walton County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division worked the scene of the incident.
Armed Robbery: Deputies responded to a residence on Helen Drive in Green Acres subdivision in reference to an unknown individual taking complainant’s cellphone at gunpoint. Walton County Sheriff’s Criminal Investigations Division handled the scene of the incident.
Extra Patrol: Extra patrol was requested in the area of Daniel Cemetery Road in reference to a light green Honda driving up and down the street. Complainant’s also requested extra patrol in reference to an unknown individual taking an item from the residence.
Suspicious Person: Deputies responded to a business on Garrett Road in reference to suspicious person on location. Deputies made contact with individual and ran their information. Suspect was advised to leave location. Deputies notified several hours later suspect had warrant out of Barrow County.
Recovered Property: Deputies responded to a residence on Piney Grove Road in reference to a trailer that was registered on the national database as stolen out of Henry County. Trailer was recovered by Taylors and Henry County Police department.
Attempted Burglary: Deputies responded to a complaint at a residence on Youth Monroe Road in reference to a damaged front door. Suspect was unable to enter due to the deadbolt. Deputies cleared the residence, everything okay.
Theft: Deputies responded to a business on Highway 81 in reference to an individual taking cash from the business.
Trespassing: Deputies responded to a residence on Highway 81 in reference to two individuals trespassing on complainant’s property. Both individuals issued Criminal Trespassing Warnings.
