WCSO Alerts: Chases in Walton last week result in arrests

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Tuesday, May 12, to Thursday, May 14, 2020. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Tuesday, May 12, 2020

ZONE 1

Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Michael Etchison Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual taking several items from the complainant’s residence sometime between May 8th and May 12th.

ZONE 2

Arrest- A 30-year-old Social Circle man was arrested at a residence on Highway 278 for Simple Battery following a dispute.

ZONE 3

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Brook Lane in reference to several complainants of an ongoing issue with vehicles doing donuts in the area.

ZONE 5

Arrest- A 24-year-old Monroe resident was arrested at a residence on Roscoe Davis Road for Obstruction and Criminal Trespass following being found on location trespassing.

ZONE 6

Burglary- Deputies took a report at a business on Highway 78 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took several items from the business sometime overnight. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division investigating the incident

Wednesday, May 13, 2020

ZONE 6

Arrest- A 39-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the area of Creekwood Trail and Highway 20 for Driving Under the Influence, Open Container, Failure to Maintain Lane, and a Headlight Violation following a traffic stop.

 Thursday, May 14, 2020

ZONE 4

Arrest- A 48-year-old Conyers man was arrested in the area of Highway 78 and Cherry Hill Road for Fleeing to Elude, Trafficking Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Related Objects, Possession of Marijuana, Driving Without a License, Driving Without a Tag, and hands-Free violation following a vehicle pursuit.

ZONE 5

Theft- Deputies took a report in the area of Twin Oaks Place in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took items from the location sometime on May 13th.

Arrest- A 23-year-old Loganville resident was arrested in the area of Cown Road following a vehicle pursuit where he was involved in a single-vehicle accident without injuries. Georgia State Patrol worked the scene of the accident and the arrest. He was charged with Fleeing to Elude, Driving Without License, Too Fast for Conditions, Cancelled Registration, Speeding, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Attempt to Conceal Identity.
