Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts for the period Friday to Sunday, Feb. 24 – 26, 2017. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
ZONE 1
Arrest- Thomas Diebel was arrested at a residence in the area of Wood Chase Drive for outstanding warrants out of Covington and Newton County.
ZONE 2
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Lemonds Road in reference to speeding vehicles.
Entering Auto- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Highway 278 to take a report of an individual taking several items from motorist vehicle unlawfully. Possible suspect identified.
Arrest- Justin Dryer was arrested at a residence in the area of Highway 278 for Possession of Controlled Schedule I Drugs and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
ZONE 3
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident in the area of Bethany Church Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Trespassing- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Sandy Ford Road in reference to several individuals trespassing at the Social Circle Reservoir. Deputies made contact with the individuals and they were issued Criminal Trespass warnings.
Theft- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Pleasant Valley Road to take a report of an unknown individual taking several items from complainant’s residence unlawfully.
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Unisia Drive and Good Hope Road. No injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Mount Paron Church Road in reference to several suspicious vehicles in the area.
Arrest- Michael Wioskowki was arrested at a residence in the area of Harry Arnold Road for an outstanding Burglary warrant out of Cherokee County Sheriff’s Office.
ZONE 4
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Highway 11 and Louise Drive. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
Noise Complainant- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Sims Bridge Road in reference to loud music. Deputies made contact with the homeowner and they were advised to keep their music down. No further complainants.
ZONE 5
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident in the area of Bold Springs Road and Carl Davis Road. No life threatening injuries report. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Highway 78 and New Hope Church Road. No injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
Arrest- Johnathan Gomez was arrested in the area of Cedar Ridge Road for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce and three other individuals on location were given Criminal Trespass warnings following a suspicious person call.
Citation- One motorist was cited in the area of Highway 78 and Lee Peters Road for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop.
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Highway 81 and Forest Falls Drive. No injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Arrest- Danis Omeranovic was arrested in the area of Piney Grove Road and Bay Creek Church Road for Driving Under the Influence following being found asleep behind the wheel of the vehicle.
Damage to Property- Deputies responded to the area of Double Springs Road, Bold Springs Road and New Hope Church Road to take a report of 9 residence having damage caused to their mailboxes.
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Bay Creek Church Road and Piney Grove Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
ZONE 6
Damage to Property- Deputies responded to a business in the area of Highway 78 to take a report of an unknown individual slashing complainant’s tires.
Entering Auto- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Shepard’s Lane to take a report of an unknown individual entering motorist unlocked vehicle and taking several items unlawfully. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division handled the scene of the incident.
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident in the area of Highway 20 and Centerhill Church Road. No injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident in the area of Highway 20. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.
Arrest- John Vaughan was arrested at a residence in the area of Youth Monroe Road for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Barrow County.
Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to the area of Richmond Hill Drive in reference to an unknown individual on a silver dirt bike riding through the yards of residences in the area. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, no contact with anyone.
ZONE 7
Arrest- Christopher Hardigree was arrested at a residence in the area of Woodland Circle for Possession of Drug Related Objects following a dispute.
