The Walton County Sheriff’s Office shared the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Thursday, Feb. 11 to Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Thursday, Feb. 11, 2021
ZONE 1
Entering Auto– Deputies took a report at a residence in the area of Jersey Covington Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entering their unlocked vehicle between the hours of 8 pm and 9 pm. No items were reported stolen. Deputies thoroughly searched the area, but no contact was made.
ZONE 2
Arrest– A 29-year-old Conyers resident was arrested in the area of Highway 11 and Pleasant Valley Road for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.
ZONE 3
Arrest– A 61-year-old and a 66-year-old Monroe woman were both arrested at a residence on Navaho Trail for Violations of a Family Violence Order following a report.
ZONE 4
Arrest– A 34-year-old Monroe man was arrested in the area of Partain Road on a Criminal Trespass warrant out of Walton County following an accident.
ZONE 5
Arrest– A 30-year-old Winder was arrested in the area of Spring Hill Drive for Theft by Taking and Financial Transaction Card Fraud following a report.
Theft– Deputies took a report in the area of Bridge Gate Drive in reference to complainant reporting a stolen heat pump from the property between the hours of 6 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 10 and 10 am on Thursday, Feb. 11.
ZONE 6
Theft– Deputies took a report at Centerhill Baptist Church in reference to complainant reporting stolen items from a vehicle between 10 pm on Wednesday, Feb. 10 and 8 am on Thursday, Feb. 11. Extra patrol was added to the area.
ZONE 7
Entering Auto– Deputies took a report at a residence on Lakeside Boulevard after conducting a neighborhood check in reference to an unknown individual entering an unlocked vehicle between 9 pm and 9:10 pm. No items were reported stolen. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but no contact was made.
Friday, Feb. 12, 2021
ZONE 7
Stolen Vehicle– Deputies took a report at a residence on Lakeside Boulevard in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual stealing their white in color 2018 Ford F-150 truck (Tag #: RVG7775) around 2 am. The vehicle was placed onto the national database as stolen.
Sunday, Feb. 14, 2021
ZONE 2
Arrest– A 33-year-old Newborn resident was arrested at a residence on Pond Lane on a warrant out of Jackson County. Deputies transported her to the county line where she was turned over to Jackson County Sheriff’s Office without incident.
ZONE 5
Arrest- A 29-year-old Lawrenceville resident was arrested at the Texaco on Bold Springs Road for Driving Under the Influence and Following too Closely following a traffic stop.
