The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Friday, Feb. 5 – Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
| Friday, Feb. 5, 2021 ZONE 2 Arrest– A 24-year-old North Carolina resident was arrested at Twin Lakes Recovery Center for Simple Assault following a dispute. ZONE 3 Arrest– A 40-year-old Monroe man was arrested on Clearwater Way on multiple outstanding warrants out of Gwinnett County following a 911 call. ZONE 5 Arrest– A 22-year-old Loganville man was arrested at a residence on Claude Brewer Road for Criminal Trespass following a dispute. ZONE 6 Arrest– A 19-year-old Norcross man was arrested in the area of Claude Brewer Road and Rabbit Farm Road on an outstanding warrant out of Lilburn following a traffic stop. Saturday, Feb. 6, 2021 ZONE 4 Stolen Vehicle– Deputies took a report at a residence on Parker Drive in reference to complainant reporting two stolen dirt bikes from the residence. Sunday, Feb. 7, 2021 ZONE 3 Arrest– A 28-year-old Monroe man was arrested at Good Hope General Store on North Highway 83 for Giving False Name to Officer and Possession of Meth following a following a Suspicious Person call. Arrest– A 41-year-old Watkinsville man was arrested in the area of East Church Street and Young Street for two counts of Possession of Firearm by Convicted Felon and an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a traffic stop. ZONE 4 Arrest– A 26-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a residence on Luther Adams Road for Battery and Simple Assault following a dispute. ZONE 5 Arrest– A 62-year-old Loganville man was arrested at a residence on Cathy Drive for Rape, Sodomy, Possession of Schedule IV Drug, and Theft by Receiving following a report. (We have requested a copy of the report from WCSO and will update with details once we receive it – UPDATE: WCSO report that the full report is not currently available as this is still an active investigation) Monday, Feb. 8, 2021 ZONE 1 Arrest– A 48-year-old Bogart man was arrested in the area of Nunnally Farm Road and Highway 138 for Driving Under the Influence, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Failure to Yield following a traffic stop. Tuesday, Feb. 9, 2021 ZONE 2 Arrest– A 48-year-old Social Circle man was arrested without incident at a residence on Fairplay Drive on outstanding charges of Aggravated Assault, Aggravated Battery, and Exploitation of an Elder Person. ZONE 7 Damage to Property– Deputies took a report at a residence in the area of Dutch Mill Drive in reference to complainant report of damage to their vehicle between the hours of 8 pm on Monday, February 8th and 8 am on Tuesday, February 9th. |
