The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Jan. 27 – 28, 2021. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Wednesday, Jan. 27, 2021 ZONE 5 Theft– Deputies took a report at a residence on Poplar Lane in reference to complainant reporting outgoing mail had been stolen from their mailbox. Entering Auto– Deputies took a report at a residence on Richmond Place in reference to complainant report of items missing from their vehicle sometime on January 25. Arrest– A 35-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the area of Ozora Church Road on outstanding warrants out of Walton County and Newton County following a motorcycle chase. ZONE 6 Hit and Run– Deputies took a report at CoPart on Highway 20 in reference to an unknown individual in a grey in color Dodge truck leaving the scene after striking one of the vehicles belonging to the business. The case was turned over to Georgia State Patrol. ZONE 7 Theft– Deputies took a report at Dollar General on Highway 81 in reference to complainant reporting two females stealing gift cards approximately valued at $1,000. Thursday, Jan. 28, 2021 ZONE 4 Arrest– A 41-year-old Buford man was arrested at a residence on Snow Mill Road for Criminal Trespass following a dispute. |
