The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts for Sunday, October 15, 2017. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Lower Jersey Road in reference to an unknown individual(s) trespassing on complainant’s property.
Arrest- Bartholomew Hicks was arrested in the area of East Church Street and South Broad Street for an outstanding warrant out of Winder Police Department following a traffic stop.
Damage to Property- Deputies responded to the area of Mount Carmel Church Road to assist Oconee County Sheriff’s Office with spray painted graffiti on the bridge. Walton County Roads and Bridges responded to the incident and covered the damage.
Arrest- Robin Morgan was arrested in the area of Highway 11 for Driving While License Expired and Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce following a traffic stop.
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a single vehicle accident in the area of Highway 11 and Emmett Doster Road. No injuries reported. Motorist was cited for Failure to Maintain Lane. Walton County Sheriff’s Office worked the scene of the accident.
Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Hodges Road in reference to an ongoing issue with vehicles speeding in the area.
Citation- Deputies took a report at a residence on Highway 20 in reference to two individuals dumping tree limbs on the property without permission. Two individuals cited for Criminal Trespass following the incident.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Highway 20. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance.
Arrest and Citations in reference to this safety check:
- One motorist was cited for a traffic offense.
- Craig Fambrough was arrested for Driving While License Suspended, Giving False Name, Trafficking Illegal Drugs, and Possession of Drug Related Objects.
Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Guthrie Cemetery Road and Highway 81. No life threatening injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol worked the scene of the accident.
