
The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Tuesday, March 9 – Sunday, March 14, 2021. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Tuesday, March 9, 2021
ZONE 5
Arrest– A 49-year-old Monroe woman was arrested at a residence on River Bluff Road for Obstruction following a dispute.
ZONE 6
Arrest– A 25-year-old South Carolina man was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Guthrie Cemetery Road for No License Plate/Tag, No Insurance, Driving on a Suspended License, Fleeing and Attempting to Elude, Speeding, and Reckless Driving following a chase.
ZONE 7
Arrest– A 58-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the area of Broadnax Mill Road and Youth Monroe Road for Possession of Meth following a traffic stop.
Wednesday, March 10, 2021
ZONE 3
Arrest– A 25-year-old Monroe woman was arrested in the area of Highway 11 and Frost Road for Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Maintain Lane following a traffic stop.
ZONE 4
Arrest– A 37-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a residence on Wall Road for Violation of a Family Violence Order following a dispute.
ZONE 5
Damage to Property– Deputies took a report at a residence on Highway 11 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual had spray painted their vehicle between the hours of 9:00pm on Tuesday, March 9 and 7:00am on Wednesday, March 10.

ZONE 3
Arrest– A 43-year-old Sparta man was arrested at the Dollar General in Good Hope on an outstanding probation warrant out of Baldwin County following a traffic stop.
Friday, March 12, 2021
ZONE 2
Burglary– Deputies took a report at a residence on Hickory Nut Way in reference to complainant reporting several stolen items from the residence between 11:30pm on Thursday, March 11 and 1:00pm on Friday, March 12.
Hit and Run– Deputies responded to a hit and run accident in the area of Knox Chapel Road and East Hightower Trail in reference to an individual in a red in color Dodge passenger vehicle striking multiple road signs and a vehicle and fleeing the scene. Georgia State Patrol handled the accident.
ZONE 3
Damage to Property– Deputies took a report at a residence on J M Brown Road in reference to complainant reporting a black in color Mazda passenger vehicle striking their fence between the hours of 8:00pm on Thursday, March 11 and 12:30pm on Friday, March 12. Deputies later made contact with the vehicle and issued a citation to the individual for Duty to Report Accident with Damages following a traffic stop.
ZONE 5
Arrest– An 18-year-old Loganville man was arrested at a residence on Watson Fain Trail for Battery Family Violence following a dispute.
Arrest– A 19-old woman and a 25-year-old man from Monroe were arrested on Highway 11 following a traffic stop.
-The woman was arrested for Driving Under the Influence of Multiple Substances, Possession of Marijuana Less than 1 Ounce, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
-The man was arrested for Possession of Drug Related Objects and Possession of Methamphetamine.
Saturday, March 13, 2021
ZONE 3
Extra Patrol– Extra patrol was added to the area of Pleasant Valley Road and Union Chapel Church in reference to ongoing issues of speeding in the area.
Scam– Deputies took a report at a residence on Harry Arnold Road in reference to complainant reporting that they had received a spam call from an individual claiming to be a detective for the Walton County Sheriff’s Office. The caller stated that the complainant needed to buy gift cards and give them the information in order to avoid a warrant being taken for his arrest.
ZONE 4
Arrest– A 37-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a residence on Wall Road for Aggravated Stalking following a dispute.
ZONE 5
Arrest– A 50-year-old Bethlehem resident was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Shiloh Drive for Driving Under the Influence following an accident.
Arrest– A 33-year-old Loganville woman was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Ozora Church Road for Driving Under the Influence, Driving Under the Influence Child Endangerment, and Not Having Headlights on After Dark following a traffic stop.
Arrest– A 49-year-old Loganville resident was arrested at a residence on Eagles Nest Court for Criminal Trespass following a dispute.
Sunday, March 14, 2021
ZONE 6
Damage to Property– Deputies took a report at a residence on Youth Monroe Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual damaging their mailbox between the hours of 11:00pm on Saturday, March 13 and 12:30am on Sunday, March 14.
ZONE 7
Arrest– A 19-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a residence on Nunnally Trace for Battery following a dispute.
