WCSO Alerts: Safety checks net several drug arrests

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts for Tuesday, Feb. 28, 2017. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

ZONE 1

Arrest- Keith Guy and Barbra Boyd were arrested in the area of Cannon Farm Road and Wapakaneta Trail following a traffic stop.

• Keith Guy was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance (x2) and Driving on Suspended License.
• Barbra Boyd was arrested for Possession of Controlled Substance, Possession of Schedule IV Drugs and Possession of Non-Labeled Prescription Drugs.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Highway 81. No injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Walnut Avenue and Leone Avenue. No injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Lower Jersey Road in reference to several suspicious unknown individual in the area.

ZONE 5

Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Autumn Woods Drive in reference to an unknown dark in color Jeep Cherokee with faded grey trim and multiple stickers on the back window turning off their lights and backing into the residence. Complainant reported the motorist fled the scene when they noticed the complainant. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, no contact with the vehicle. Everything appeared to be okay. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.

ZONE 6

Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Rabbit Farm Road in reference to an unknown individual in the driveway at complainant’s residence. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, no contact with anyone. Everything appeared to be okay.

Arrest- Michael Presock was arrested at a residence in the area of Rosebud Road for Disorderly Conduct following a dispute.

Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Rosebud Road and Escoe Drive. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria:  valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations in reference to this Safety Check.

Arrest in reference to Safety Check:

• Paris Buie was arrested for Possession of Controlled Schedule II Drugs and Possession of Drug Related Objects.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Karlee Boulevard. No injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Damage to Property- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Highway 81 to take a report of an unknown motorist ran the stop sign in the area and ran through complainants yard causing damage.

Arrest- Brandon Johnson was arrested at a residence in the area of Claude Brewer Road for Criminal Trespass following a dispute.

ZONE 7

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Highway 81. No injuries reported. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
