The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for Tuesday and Wednesday Feb. 13-14, 2018. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Tuesday, Feb. 13, 2018
Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Parklake Court in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual taking items from the residence sometime between 9:00PM on Sunday, February 11, 2018 and 8:30PM on Monday, February 12, 2018.
Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Mountain Creek Church Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual taking their wallet sometime around 2:30PM.
Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to the area of Watson Mill Court in reference to a complaint of three unknown individual trying to sell pine straw in the area around 1:30PM. Deputies made contact with the individuals and they were advised to obtain the proper paper work before they could continue their solicitation.
Safety Check – Walton County deputies conducted a safety check on Tuck Road. Deputies checked for the required driving criteria: valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and insurance. No citations issued in reference to this Safety Check.
Arrest in Reference to Safety Check:
- Christopher Garcia was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine, Possession of Drug Related Objects, and Expired Registration.
Arrest- Rodney Holmes was arrested in the area of Centerville Rosebud Road near Rosebud Road for Giving False Information to an Officer and an outstanding warrant out of Pennsylvania following a traffic stop.
Wednesday, Feb. 14, 2018
Arrest- Jatahj Malcom was arrested in the area of Hickory Point Road for Obstruction of an Officer, Loitering, Carrying Firearm Without Permit, and Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of a Crime following a suspicious vehicle call.
Arrest- Nicolas Phelps and Christopher Fuller were arrested in the area of Sardis Church Road and Highway 78 following a traffic stop.
- Christopher Fuller was arrested for an outstanding warrant out of Greene County.
- Nicholas Phelps was arrested for an outstanding warrants out of Gwinnett County and Alpharetta Police Department.
Arrest- Joseph Zingarelli was arrested in the area of Lake Edmond Road for outstanding warrants out of Franklin County Florida following a traffic stop.
