
The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Wednesday, March 17 to Sunday, March 21, 2021. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
Wednesday, March 17, 2021
ZONE 2
Fraud– Deputies took a report at a residence on Rock Creek Road in reference to complainant reporting fraudulent charges to their bank account.
ZONE 5
Arrest– A 21-year-old Monroe resident was arrested in the area of Highway 11 and Bold Springs Road for Driving Under the Influence, Open Container, and Speeding following a traffic stop.
Arrest– A 22-year-old Monroe resident was arrested at a residence on Bentley Road for Driving Under the Influence, Failure to Maintain Lane, and Failure to Notify Striking a Fixed Object following a hit and run accident.
ZONE 6
Prowler– Deputies took a report at a residence on Camelot Way in reference to complainant reporting two unknown individuals knocking on the complainant’s front door and walking around their backyard around 9:15 pm. Upon arrival, deputies thoroughly searched the area, but no contact was made.
Thursday, March 18, 2021
ZONE 2
Entering Auto– Deputies responded to TLC Transmissions on Adamson Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entering their vehicle and stealing items from the locked glove compartment between the hours of 12:00 pm on Monday, March 15 and 5:00 pm on Wednesday, March 17.
ZONE 5
Arrest- A 27-year-old Monroe resident was arrested at a residence on South Cross Lane Road on outstanding warrants out of Gwinnett County following a dispute.
Arrest– A 39-year-old Monroe man and a 39-year-old Winder resident were arrested in the area of North Cross Lane Road following a suspicious person call.
– The man was arrested for Possession of Methamphetamine.
– The woman was arrested on an outstanding warrant out of Barrow County.
ZONE 6
Citation– A 42-year-old Connecticut man was arrested in the area of Highway 138 and Great Oaks Drive for Speeding, Driving with a Suspended License, and Failure to Yield to an Emergency Vehicle following a traffic stop. He also had his vehicle towed following a drug dog search.
Arrest– A 32-year-old Loganville man was arrested at a residence on Creekwood Trail on outstanding warrants out of Walton County and Gwinnett County and was transported to the Gwinnett County Jail without issue.
Friday, March 19, 2021
ZONE 1
Arrest- A 26-year-old Lawrenceville man was arrested in the area of Jersey Circle Road and Alcovy Station Road for Driving Under the Influence following a suspicious vehicle call.
ZONE 4
Firearms– Deputies responded to the area of Hern Road in reference to complainant reporting firearms being discharged between the hours of 11:15 pm on Friday, March 19 and 12:15 am on Saturday, March 20. Deputies thoroughly searched the area but no contact was made.
Arrest– A 37-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a residence on Dry Pond Road for Battery Family Violence following a dispute.
ZONE 5
Firearms– Deputies responded to the area of Azalea Drive in reference to complainant reporting firearms being discharged between the hours of 9:50 pm and 10:10 pm. Deputies thoroughly searched the area but no contact was made.
ZONE 6
Stolen Item– Deputies took a report at Legacy Electrical Services on Lance Court in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual in a pickup truck stealing a 2020 Big Tex Trailer from the property around 4:30 am on Thursday, March 18.
Arrest– A 45-year-old Loganville woman was arrested at a residence on Highway 20 for Theft of Lost/Mislaid Property, Concealing Vehicle Identity, Driving with a Suspended License, Driving an Unregistered Vehicle, and No Proof of Insurance following a traffic stop.
Saturday, March 20, 2021
ZONE 7
Arrest– A 25-year-old Oxford man was arrested at a residence on Old Highway 138 for Battery Family Violence, Simple Assault, and Criminal Trespass following a dispute.
ZONE 1
Stolen Vehicle– Deputies took a report at Hide N Seek Recovery on Highway 138 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual cutting the front gate and stealing a tan in color BMW passenger vehicle from the property between 8:00 pm on Sunday, March 21 and 12:50 am on Monday, March 22.
ZONE 7
Arrest– A 40-year-old Shady Dale resident was arrested at Waffle House on Walnut Avenue for Theft by Receiving, Driving While Unlicensed, and Affixing License Plate with Intent to Conceal or Misrepresent following a suspicious vehicle report
