WCSO Alerts: Slew of arrests following execution of warrants

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Monday – Wednesday, Sept. 30 – Oct. 2, 2019. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Monday, Sept. 30, 2019

Zone 1

Suspicious Person- Deputies took a report at a residence on Camp Lake Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual was on location going through mailboxes. No contact was made.

Zone 5

Extra Patrol- Deputies took a report at a residence on Stock Road in reference to complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle in area, no description given.

Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2019Zone 1

Found Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Highway 138 in reference to complainant locating a handgun next to mailbox. Handgun was taken into Property by Deputy.

Zone 3

Extra Patrol- Deputies took a report at a residence on Powers Road in reference to complainant reporting unknown vehicles speeding through the area.

Citations- 2 Disorderly Conduct citations were given to two individuals at a residence on Marion Ivie Road following a physical altercation.

Chase- Deputies involved in a brief vehicle pursuit and vehicle crash followed by a suspect running from the location on Old Monroe Madison Highway. No contact was made and several warrants have been issued for the suspect.

Zone 6

Arrest- A 39-year-old male resident of Grayson, Ga. was arrested in the area of Highway 20 and Rockdale County Line for outstanding warrants.

Arrest- A 39-year-old female of Loganville, Ga. was arrested in the area of Highway 20 and Rockdale County Line for outstanding warrants.

Arrest- A 32-year-old resident of Loganville, Ga. was arrested at a residence on North Sharon Church Road for Probation Violation warrant out of Gwinnett County.

Zone 7

Theft Report- Deputies took a report at AAA Trucks LLC on Old Highway 138 in reference to complainant reporting several tags missing from the location. Entered on National Database.

Wednesday, Oct. 2, 2019

Zone 3

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Gene Bell Road in reference to complainant reporting a farm pickup truck was ran into a dirt pile on location during late-night hours by an unknown individual.

Zone 5

Arrest- A 19-year-old resident of Covington, Ga. was arrested in the area of Highway 81 and Fairwinds Drive for active warrants out of Gwinnett County following a suspicious persons call.

Zone 6

Arrest- A 22-year-olf resident of Loganville, Ga. was arrested at a residence on Youth Monroe Road for Contempt of Court warrant out of Walton County.

Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at Crossfit on Highway 78 in reference to complainant reporting front bumper of complainants vehicle was damaged on location by an unknown vehicle.
