The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following incidents for the period Monday, Jan. 11, 2021 and Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.
|Monday, Jan. 11, 2021|
Damage to Property- Deputies took a report at a residence on Jim Daws Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual drove through their property and caused damages sometime between 9 p.m. and 11:30 p.m.
Hit and Run- Deputies responded to a hit and run accident in the area of Lee Peters Road in reference to an unknown individual in a blue in color Ford passenger vehicle that struck a school bus filled with students. No known injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol worked the scene of the accident.

Arrest- An 18-year-old Loganville man was arrested at a residence on Maple Creek Drive for Simple Battery following a dispute.
Arrest- A 56-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the area of Highway 20 and Tuck Road for Speeding and Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.
Thursday, Jan. 14, 2021
Arrest- A 22-year-old Bogart man was arrested in the area of Walnut Avenue for Possession of Marijuana, Possession of Firearm during the Commission of a Crime, and Speeding following a traffic stop.
Enter Auto- Deputies responded to multiple residences in the areas of Middleton Drive, Nunnally Farm Road, and Ansley Forest Drive in reference to an unknown individual attempting to gain entry into several locked vehicles in the area between the hours of 1:30 am and 6:30 am. Suspect reportedly gained entry into one vehicle, but nothing was reported stolen. Deputies thoroughly searched the area, but no contact was made with the individual.
