WCSO Alerts: Stolen vehicle, stolen firearms and several arrests

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Monday, May 4 – Wednesday, May 6, 2020. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Monday, May 4, 2020

ZONE 1

Arrest- A 31-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the area of Youth Jersey Road and Water Tank Road for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County following a suspicious vehicle call.

ZONE 5

Arrest- A 27-year-old Covington resident was arrested in the area of Highway 78 near the Loganville Waffle House for Driving Under the Influence following a traffic stop.

ZONE 6

Theft- Deputies took a report at a residence on Broadnax Mill Road in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took a firearm from the complainant’s residence sometime between April 30th and May 4th.

Arrest- A 19-year-old Monroe resident was arrested in the area of North Sharon Church Road and Oakland Lane for Possession of Alcohol by a Minor, Possession of Drug Related Objects, Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce, Possession of Cocaine, Possession of Xanax, Possession of Ecstasy, Failure to Maintain Lane, and a Taillight Violation following a traffic stop.

Tuesday, May 5, 2020

ZONE 2

Arrest- A 31-year-old Social Circle man was arrested at a residence on Highway 278 for Battery and Aggravated Assault following a dispute.

ZONE 4

Found Property- Deputies took a report in the area of Old Mill Trace and Bradley Gin Road in reference to complainant reporting they found an unknown bicycle in the wood line.

ZONE 7

Extra Patrol- Extra patrol was requested in the area of Old Highway 138 in reference to an ongoing issue with motorcycles speeding in the area.

Wednesday, May 6, 2020

ZONE 5

Arrest- A 21-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the area of Cliff Top Road for Aggravated Assault after he was found to be the suspect in a firearms complainant around 6:30 pm.

ZONE 6

Stolen Vehicle- Deputies took a report at a business on Highway 81, the 10 Federal Self Storage, in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took the complainants red in color Chevrolet passenger vehicle from location sometime between February 2020 and April 30, 2020
