The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Awareness Crime Alerts for the period Monday – Tuesday, May 18 – 19, 2020. Please note an address or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Theft- Deputies took a report in the area of Highway 138 and the Grove Plaza in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took parts from several vehicles on location sometime between 8:00 am May 13th and 1:30 pm May 18th.
Entering Auto- Deputies took a report at a residence on Brush Creek Drive in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered the complainant’s unlocked vehicle and took items sometime between 9:00 pm May 17th and 7:40 am May 18th. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division investigating the incident.
Trespassing- Deputies took a report in the area of Heritage Parkway and Garrett Road in reference to complainant reporting several unknown individuals riding ATVs on the complainant’s property causing damage. Extra patrol requested in reference to the issue.
Arrest- A 48-year-old Loganville man was arrested in the area of Bold Springs Road near Park Place Nursing Home for Driving Under the Influence and Failure to Maintain Lane following a single-vehicle accident with no reported injuries. Georgia State Patrol worked the scene of the accident.
Burglary- Deputies took a report at a residence on Walnut Avenue in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual entered the complainant’s residence and took numerous items sometime between 8:40 am and 5:00 pm. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigations Division investigating the incident.
Arrest- A 34-year-old Lithonia man was arrested in the area of Highway 138 near Walnut Grove Animal Hospital for an outstanding warrant out the of Snellville Police Department following a traffic stop. He was transported to the county line and tuned over to Snellville officers.
Arrest- A 53-year-old Monroe man was arrested at a residence on Oakmont Way for Theft by Receiving Stolen Property.
Suspicious Person- Deputies responded to a residence on Brandi Lane in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual wearing what appeared to be a red in color hoodie/jacket walking around the complainant’s residence around 4:40am. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, but had no contact. Extra patrol in reference to the incident.
