WCSO Alerts: Theft, DUI and dispute arrests over the weekend

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Crime Awareness Community Alerts for the period Friday, April 24 – Saturday, April 25, 2020. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

Friday, April 24, 2020

ZONE 5

Theft- Deputies took a report in the area of Highway 81 in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual took several items from the location sometime between 4:00 pm April 23rd and 8:00 am April 24th.

Arrest- A 30-year-old Loganville woman was arrested at a residence on Old Oak Drive for Aggravated Assault and two counts of Cruelty to Children in the 3rdDegree following a dispute.

Saturday, April 25, 2020

ZONE 3

Arrest- Two 18-year-old and one 17-year-old male were arrested at a residence on Brindle Farmer Road following a dispute.

  • One 18-year-old was arrested for Battery.
  • One 18-year-old was arrested for two counts of Simple Battery.
  • The 17-year-old was arrested for Possession of Marijuana Less Than One Ounce and two counts of Aggravated Assault.

Arrest- A 34-year-old man was arrested at a residence on Palomino Pass for Battery following a dispute.

ZONE 6

Arrest- A 37-year-old Monroe woman was arrested in the area of Nunnally Farm Road for Driving Under the Influence and Open Container following a suspicious vehicle call.

ZONE 7

Prowler- Deputies responded to a residence on Greenhill Way in reference to complainant reporting an unknown individual with no shirt and a mustache attempting to open the complainant’s residence door around 3:45am. Complainant reported the individual fled the area when they were told law enforcement was contacted. Deputies thoroughly checked the area but had no contact with anyone.
