WCSO Alerts: Vehicle hit in a rear end hit-and-run flees the scene

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following community alerts for Tuesday, Feb. 21, 2017. Please note a charge or arrest does not constitute a conviction.

ZONE 1

Hit and Run- Deputies responded to a two vehicle hit and run accident in the area of Highway 81 and Hightower Trail. Complainant reported rear ending a vehicle, and the vehicle fleeing the scene. No known injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.

Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to the area of Highway 138 and Michael Etchison Road in reference to an unknown motorist driving recklessly in the area. Deputies checked the area, no contact. Everything appeared to be okay.

ZONE 5

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a three vehicle accident in the area of Highway 78 and New Hope Church Road. No injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

Loud Music- Deputies responded to a the area of Mountain Creek Church Road in reference to a complainant of loud music in the area. Deputies made contact with the residents and advise them to turn it down. No further issues.

Shoplifting- Deputies responded to a business in the area of Highway 81 to take a report of two unknown males taking items unlawfully.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Highway 81 and Bentley Road. No life threatening injuries. Georgia State Patrol handled the scene of the accident.

ZONE 6

Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to the area of Irvin Drive in reference to an unknown green and grey Dodge pickup truck continuously riding through the area. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, no contact. Everything appeared to be okay. Extra patrol requested in reference to the incident.

Damage to Property- Deputies responded to a residence in the area of Karlee Boulevard to take a report of an unknown individual damaging complainant’s vehicle.

ZONE 7

Suspicious Vehicle- Deputies responded to the area of H D Atha Road in reference to a motorcycle speeding and driving recklessly in the area. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, no contact. Everything appeared to be okay.

Vehicle Accident- Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident at a business in the area of Highway 138. No injuries. Walton County Sheriff’s Office handled the scene of the accident.
