WCSO Alerts: Widespread entering autos and possible burglary attempts

The Walton County Sheriff’s Office reported the following Community Alerts for Monday, June 12, 2017. Please note an arrest or charge does not constitute a conviction.

ZONE 1

Entering Auto: Deputies took a report at a residence on Isabella Lane in Isabella Plantation subdivision in reference to an unknown individual entering complainant’s unlocked vehicle and taking several items.

Entering Auto: Deputies took a report at a residence on Matthew Court in Dutch Crossing subdivision in reference to an unknown individual entering complainant’s unlocked vehicle and taking several items.

Entering Auto: Deputies took a report at a residence on Matthew Court in Dutch Crossing subdivision in reference to an unknown individual entering complainant’s unlocked vehicle and taking several items.

ZONE 3

Suspicious Person: Deputies responded to area of Harry Arnold Road in reference to an unknown individual on foot. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, no contact was made.

Agency Assist: Walton County Deputies assisted the Georgia Department of Community Supervision in reference to serving  a warrant in Bearden Estate subdivision. Christopher Hogan was arrested for an outstanding Probation Violation warrant out of Walton County. Brandon Hit was arrested for an outstanding Parole Violation warrant.

ZONE 4

Suspicious Person: Deputies responded to the area of Mountain Creek Church Road in reference to an unknown individual walking down the middle of the street wearing a red sweater and a white mask. Deputies thoroughly checked the scene, no contact with subject.

Extra Patrol: Extra patrol was requested in the area of Parker Drive in Green Acres subdivision in reference to recent burglaries and entering autos in the area.

Entering Auto: Deputies took a report at a residence on Elizabeth Drive in Green Acres subdivision in reference to an unknown individual entering two vehicles. Nothing was appeared to have been taken and there was no damage to the vehicles.

ZONE 5

Fraud: Deputies took a report at a residence on Riverglen Drive in reference to an unknown individual opening up an account in complainant’s name.

Entering Auto: Deputies took a report at a residence on Audrey’s Ridge in reference to an unknown individual entering complainant’s unlocked vehicle and taking several items. Walton County Sheriff’s Office Criminal Investigation Division is investigating the incident.

ZONE 6

Suspicious Person: Deputies responded to a complaint on Dove Drive in Dove Crossing subdivision in reference to an unknown individual looking into complainant’s garage window and got back into vehicle and left.

Burglary: Deputies took a report at a business on Highway 81 in reference to several units being entered over the past week.

Suspicious Vehicle: Deputies took a report at a residence on Logan’s Ridge in Logan’s Bluff subdivision in reference to an unknown individual speeding in the area. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, no contact was made with the speeding vehicle.

ZONE 7

Arrest:Willie Gamble and Jacob Hanrick were both arrested at a residence on Emerald Point for Disorderly Conduct.

Entering Auto: Deputies took a report at a residence on Brandi Lane in Brookview Estates in reference to an unknown individual entering complainant’s locked vehicle and taking several items.

Vehicle Accident: Deputies responded to a two vehicle accident in the area of Highway 138 and Guthrie Cemetery Road. Minor injuries reported. Georgia State Patrol worked the scene of the accident.

Suspicious Person: Deputies responded to the area of Cedar Lake Drive in Cedar Lake Estates in reference to an unknown individual(s) looking into several residences in the area. Deputies thoroughly checked the area, no contact. Everything appeared to be okay.
