WCSO called following disruptive student on school bus

Walton County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call regarding a disruptive student on a Walton County School bus on Wednesday afternoon.

Witnesses reported seeing a school bus pulled over with four WCSO vehicles surrounding a school bus on Highway 78 with reports of a school bus fight. WCSO Interim Sheriff Keith Brooks said they had been called because of reports of a student acting out.

“They had had an issue with the same student on Friday and are looking at maybe handling this a different way,” Brooks said.
