WALTON COUNTY, GA (Jan 25, 2026) – Walton County School District has announced it will be closed Monday, Jan. 26, due to weather conditions.
“WCSD will continue working closely with local emergency officials to monitor the forecast and its impact on our area. Thank you for your understanding as we prioritize the safety of our students and staff,” WCSD noted on Social Media.
Monroe County Day School in Monroe has announced that it will be closed on Monday and Tuesday.
Also closed Monday are:
- Georgia Walton Academy
- Social Circle City Schools
We will add others as they notify us of closings in the upcoming school week due to the weather.
