The National Weather Service has issued an alert for patchy dense fog in the local area and across north and central Georgia until 11 a.m. this morning, Oct. 13, 2021. This will restrict visibilities to less than 1/4 of a mile. If you are driving this morning, you are advised to slow down, use low-beam headlights and leave extra distance between you and the vehicle in front of you.
