“THANKFUL to the Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts for their heart-felt donation to Piedmont Walton. The center brought in 50 self-designed “Art MD Boxes” and have plans to donate more. These special boxes are each stocked with a locally-created activity book, crayons, a stuffed animal, Play-Doh, stickers and a hand-painted angel completed by a local artist. They’re intended to help patients, specifically younger ones, pass the time in a fun way during their hospital visit.”
