Shopping – we’re open SEVEN days a week until Christmas Eve!  Come see us for awesome, hand-made creations by our local artists.  Original art, pottery, Christmas decor, wood-turned items, cards, jewelry, clothing, knitted dolls, photography, puzzles, candles, blown glass, soap and lotion and so much more!See listings below for details on this week’s events and classes.Friday:

Holiday Chocolates: back by popular demand!
Fri. Dec. 21 @ 6 – 8 pm
REGISTER HERE

Treat yourself to a new skill this Holiday season. We will learn to easily temper for glossy, crisp results. Maria Ramos will share her original recipes for fruit creme and nut butter centers. You will carry home a pound of beautiful fresh bon-bons in a gift box.  Special pricing for 2 people, make it a date night or girls get together. Ages 14+. $20 members / $25 non-members.  $22 supply fee includes 1 lb. of chocolate plus other ingredients/supplies(2 people are welcome to share the supplies!)

Kids Pizza and Painting Christmas Cut Outs
Saturday, December 22 at 12 – 1:30.
Need to get the kids busy while you shop here and downtown? Drop them off here for a KIDS PIZZA AND PAINTING! We have several wooden Christmas shapes for them to choose from to paint to hang on their door. $25 includes all supplies and pizza. Register with Rebecca by emailing braswellcr@bellsouth.net  Seating is limited so sign up soon!

Our holiday hours in December
Sundays from 1 – 5 pm
Monday – Wednesday from 11 am – 4 pm
Thursdays from 11 am – 8 pm
Friday & Saturday from 10 am – 5 pm
We will be closed Christmas Day and New Years Day. 
The final day of our Gallery of Gifts is Christmas Eve, Monday, December 24.

ELIGIBILITY
– Open to all current members of MWCA.Not a member? Not a problem. Sign up today, and be part of the exhibit.  Membership forms are available in the Gallery or on-line.DATES TO REMEMBER
SHOW DATES:  January 8 – February 7
Drop Off:  Thursday & Friday, January 3 – 4 @ 11 am – 4 pm
Pickup:  Friday & Saturday, February 8 – 9 @ 11 am – 5 pm
Reception & Awards:  Thursday, January 24 @ 6 – 7:30 pmFEES (for up to three entries)
Adult:  $35
Youth (ages 10 – 17):  $5 per entry. Please list child’s age on form.AWARDS: Categories: 2-D, 3-D, Functional Pottery, Photography, Fiber and Youth – first and runner up in each.  Also Best in Show.  Cash prizes will be awarded.

If you’re a current member, you should have gotten a Guidelines and Registration Form via email. Email Hope and request one if you don’t have one. You can also pick a copy up at the Center.

Volunteer Orientation
Our next Volunteer Orientation is Saturday, January 12 from 1 – 3 pm.  Volunteers are needed to act as assistants in our special needs classes.  Please email Shay Youngblood, our coordinator for these classes, if you would like to be placed on our volunteer list to contact when these classes are scheduled. 

Call for Entries 
Our Winter MEMBERS Show drop off is January 3 – 4.  If you are a member and did not get your Guidelines and Registration Form, please email Hope.
