Last year, Monroe Local News and Loganville Local News had our first Annual Mother’s Day of the Year Contest. We had some great entries with the winning entry going to Kimberly Peters for the submission by her daughter, Kim. She won several great prizes to make for a special Mother’s Day of pampering. What a great way for a mother to be thanked for those years of dedicated parenting!
So for the competition this year, we’re again inviting people in Walton County and the Loganville area of Gwinnett County to submit, in 300 words or less, why they they think their mother should win. We have a wonderful gift package for the winning mom, as well as a great gift for second and third place runner up. The winning mother will be chosen from entries submitted by 5 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2017, in an email to sharon@yourlocalnewsinc.com. Entry must be submitted by a child, of any age, on behalf of their mother. Please include name of child submitting the entry, name of mother and child, and a photo that includes the mother. Details on gifts to the winning entry to be announced soon.
Announcement of winner will be shared by Your Local News on Mother’s Day 2017.
