Zumbathon Friday raises funds for local Accelerated Reader Program

Fitness Kula LLC, of Loganville, is hosting a Zumbathon fundraiser on Friday to help local teachers raise funds for the Accelerated Reader Programs. Owner of Fitness Kula, LLC, Kristin Henshaw, is asking for the community’s help in her efforts.
“I am doing this after being requested by a student/friend of mine who is also a teacher at Harmony Elementary in Monroe! They are doing a fundraiser for their Accelerated Reader Program, and since Walton County has cut $100,000 from the teacher’s budgets, fundraisers like this one are necessary now more than ever,” Henshaw said. “There will be raffle prize tickets for sale as well as an additional fundraiser. Admission is $10. This is an awesome lineup of local Zumba instructors all willing to give their time and talents to help our teachers.”
The event will take place from 6:30 – 8:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 22, 2017, at Harmony Elementary School, located at 934 Harmony Church School, Monroe, Ga.
“Please join an awesome lineup of fantastic Zumba instructors as we raise funds for our teachers  helping children in the Accelerated Readers Programs,” Henshaw said. “Our teachers are dedicated to our kids and their education. Let’s help pay it forward. A suggested $10 denotation gives you two fun-filled hours of dancing. Help us help our teachers.”
