The City of Loganville has selected Hyper-Reach as its new public emergency system, replacing CodeRED.
The system will notify residents of local emergencies, hazardous weather and other urgent threats through phone calls, text messages and emails. Additional notification options include social media, Alexa-enabled smart speakers, browser alerts and FEMA’s Wireless Emergency Alert system.
Landlines are automatically enrolled to receive community alerts. However, residents must register to receive weather alerts on landlines, as well as community and weather notifications on mobile phones, voice-over-internet-protocal (VoIP) phones and email.
Residents can register by calling 470-646-7979, texting ALERT to the same number or visiting Hyper-Reach’s Loganville registration page.
