For the third time in less than a week, a building in Walton County has been damaged by fire following a lightning strike. According to Walton County Fire Rescue, a 10 x 10 outdoor shed was struck by lightning in the 1600 block of Marble Rock Way in Between during Tuesday afternoon storms.
“The shed was fully engulfed upon arrival of the fire department personnel. The shed was a total loss, as well as the contents,” WCFR Assistant Chief Craig League said.
