Breaking: Social Circle, Walton & Newton County fire crews are on scene of a Hwy 11 house fire

Expect heavy traffic delays

NEWTON COUNTY, GA (Dec. 18, 2024) – Walton County Fire Rescue Assistant Chief Craig League advised that Social Circle Fire Department, Newton County Fire Department and WCFR are on the scene of a house fire on Highway 11 just inside Newton County. This is south of S. Cherokee Road.

League said to expect heavy traffic delays.
