Young artists ages 5-8 are invited to Brushes and Bites with Donna on Saturday, Sept. 12, from noon to 2 p.m. at the Monroe-Walton Center for the Arts.
Children will paint “a confetti bear’ with step-by-step instruction from Donna in a fun, encouraging environment. The $35 registration fee includes all art supplies, plus pizza and drinks.
Last-minute registrations are welcome as space allows. Parents registering on Friday or Saturday are asked to email Donna in advance so enough supplies can be prepared.
Monroe Walton Center for the Arts is located at 205 South Broad Street, Monroe, Ga.

Paint + Pizza: Confetti Bear

- Learn simple painting techniques
- Follow Donna’s step-by-step instruction
- Create their own version of the featured painting
- Add their own colors and creative touches
- Enjoy pizza and drinks with other young artists
- Class format: Drop-off class; parents/caregivers may help children get settled but are encouraged to leave once class begins.
- What to bring:
- Clothes that can get a little messy
- Water bottle, if desired
- Imagination!
- Important: Children should be comfortable using stairs, participating in a group setting and following instructor directions.
- Allergies: Parents should notify MWCA in advance about food allergies, dietary concerns, sensory sensitivities or accommodations.
- Cancellation policy: 95% refund with at least three days’ notice. Late cancellations and event tickets are non-refundable unless MWCA cancels.
