(Lilburn, Georgia) Gwinnett County Police are asking for the public’s help in identifying a suspect in an armed robbery at a Mobile gas station in Lilburn on May 18. According to a press release from GCPD, it happened at 10 p.m. at 925 Indian Trail Lilburn Road in Lilburn and the suspect got away with about $1000 in cash. The suspect allegedly walked into the store, produced a black and silver semi-automatic handgun and demanded money from the store clerk. Following a brief struggle with the clerk, the suspect was able to steal money from the register before fleeing on foot. His face was covered during the robbery, but police are hoping that someone from the public recognizes the unique black and red jacket that the suspect was wearing. He is described as a black male, 25-35yoa., and 145lbs-175lbs, 5’07-5’10.
